Description
The Oscar Collection takes well-established silhouettes and modifies them through a more refined welt, tapered last and low profile sole. With the Sawyer Desert Boot, the piping around the collar and topline add a premium feel. This is complemented by the thin cotton laces and blind eyelet detail. Men's 2-Eye Desert Boot in Dark Brown New Nova leather- a supple, full grain leather with a pebble effect. This is a Goodyear-welted product, meaning the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together. Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole is oil and fat-resistant and offers good abrasion and slip resistance.
Care Instructions
A great product to use on this leather is Collonil Dark Brown which is made in Germany and is also a waterproofer and stain repellent and it has a sponge applicator in the front so it’s easy to use.
Construction
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
